Our recent family getaway at Grunauerhof was filled with delightful surprises and unforgettable moments. As a culinary critic specializing in traditional Austrian cuisine, I seek out authentic experiences, and this hotel did not disappoint. From the cozy and spotless rooms to the inviting spa and pool area, every detail was thoughtfully curated.The family-friendly amenities, such as the kids' play area and the attention to detail with kids' dressing gowns, truly made us feel welcomed. We loved the breakfast spread with a stunning mountain view and the croissants were a definite highlight. The spa was a haven of tranquility, offering various saunas and relaxing spaces for everyone to unwind.Exploring the surrounding area, we found ourselves drawn to the Hohenwerfen adventure castle south of Salzburg. The view of the Salzach valley was breathtaking, and the falcon show was a hit with the kids. Cycling along well-marked paths and enjoying the enchanting Advent time in Salzburg added a magical touch to our holiday.Grunauerhof provided a perfect setting for our family vacation. It offered a mix of relaxation and adventure, making it a memorable experience for all of us. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this charming Austrian oasis.
